There really is daylight in Norway
For the entire 2 weeks I've been in Norway we've been going to and coming back from the newspaper in the dark. The sun comes up at about 930 or 10 am then it's dark by 4 at the latest.
Every now and again we have been able to see the sun at lunch time as we sit in the cafeteria. The last two days we have had pouring rain to walk in to and from the paper. Then snow and sleet....Well this morning the sky was clear of rain or snow and it was still dark but when we headed back to the hotel from the paper it was still daylight of a sort! We couldn't believe it....330 and dusk was started but we could still see daylight...we had to have a picture!
Notice how high the moon had gotten from the first picture to the last....these pictures were taken within a few seconds of each other.

I love to watch moon rises - they are so quick and so detailed if you just take the time to W-A-T-C-H.
I agree whole heartedly. I clicked several shots in a row as it started from behind the mountain. The ones in the middle were blurry so you couldn't really get the full affect.
It's very beautiful here I enjoy the walks to the newspaper each day. The clouds and the mist make the skyline very interesting.
